MAC's Agri-Input Business Unit supports the investment and business operation of affiliates including Helena Chemical Company, Gavilon Fertilizer and the trade of Inorganic Chemicals.

Helena Chemical Company (HCC), is one of the largest formulators and retailers of crop inputs and services in the U.S. HCC offers a variety of agricultural chemicals, seed, fertilizer and related products. Helena's subsidiary, Helena Industries, Inc., has four plants which provide toll manufacturing services for its suppliers as well as manufacturing Helena's line of private and proprietary products. The Company has 17 sales divisions, with about 450 sales outlets and more than 5,000 employees. In addition to traditional agricultural products, Helena offers services in turf and ornamental products, forestry, aquatic and vegetation supplies. Its proprietary line of products includes adjuvant, seed treatments, bioscience, nutritional and value-added generics, which are distributed to Latin America, Europe, and Asian Pacific countries by MSCI.

Gavilon Fertilizer, established 1987, is a fertilizer wholesaler which has 82 locations with terminals, storage (dry & liquid fertilizer) and equipment to offer excellent distribution and other services for the customers.
